We're proud to announce that our Occupational Therapy Department is now certified in Handwriting Without Tears®, a research-backed program designed to make handwriting easier and more accessible for children from Pre-K through 5th grade.

Seeds of Hope is proud to announce that we have renewed our Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) designation as under The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES)! We are committed to delivering inclusive, evidence-based services for autistic individuals and those with sensory sensitivities across all our service departments. Currently, Seeds of Hope is the only Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This milestone strengthens our role as leader in inclusive education and therapy in Jordan.

Dr. Aya Al Jazy CCC-SLPD and Ms. Marah Al Shurman BSc OT, Head of Occupational Therapy, joined Ms. Sara Moghrabi and Mr. Wissam Tobeileh at the KIA Autism Awareness Event to discuss neurodiversity, ways to support children on the autism spectrum, and the importance of inclusion on our progressing society!

We were honored to host Special Olympics Jordan with Dr. Ali Shawaheen who shared valuable insights on inclusion and the power of sports. Sports are more than just activities -- they build confidence, belonging, and lifelong skills. Thank you to all parents who attended and engaged in this meaningful discussion and to Special Olympics Jordan for their meaningful collaboration. Together, we create opportunities for every child to shine.

In December of 2025, we launched our Caregiver Support Group Series alongside Ms. Lisa Haddadin, Community Engagement & Advocacy Coordinator. The support group was established as a space for caregivers to gain new information from professionals across a variety of subject areas, lean on each other for support, and share the milestones of those they love. We look forward to our bi-monthly sessions together and welcome you to join in our next support group!

Our team was thrilled to join MESPO 2025 in Khobar, KSA, connecting with leading experts in pediatric otolaryngology for innovative discussions and collaborations. Dr. Aya AlJazi delivered an insightful lecture on “Interdisciplinary Collaboration in the Treatment and Management of Velopharyngeal Dysfunction.” We also had the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with ENT specialists, speech therapists, and audiologists from all over the world!

Dr. Aya Aljazi and Fadi Tadros, speech therapist, were invited to the 9th International Hearing Implant Rehabilitation Workshop at the MED-EL Headquarters in Innsbruck, Austria where they explored the Surgical Implantation Solutions Training Lab, attended workshops, and connected with professionals in the world of aural habilitation!

We were delighted to sign an agreement with MED-EL as part of our initiative to cultivate hope together by bringing the sounds of life to everyone. Together, we will work to make a real difference in the lives of people with hearing loss or impairment. Our vision is one: to empower individuals to integrate into society and enjoy a better quality of life. Our work is integrated, from cochlear implants to restore hearing, to auditory rehabilitation and speech therapy, to improve communication skills and promote independence. This collaboration embodies the spirit of giving and social responsibility, opening new horizons for a brighter future. Together, we will cultivate hope and bring the sounds of life closer to everyone.

The Seeds of Hope team underwent a training with Mr. Darren Hughes to get acquainted with administering curriculum programs with ASDAN. ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network) is a UK-based education charity and awarding organization that provides accredited curriculum programs and qualifications to engage, elevate, and empower young people aged 11 to 25. It focuses on developing personal, social, and employability skills through practical, portfolio-based, and activity-based learning

It was an honor to share our insights on crucial topics such as swallowing and swallowing disorders in adults, cutting-edge technology in speech pathology, and implementing AAC in inclusive school settings.A heartfelt thank you to the scientific and organizational committees for the opportunity and for putting together such a well-curated and impactful event.Here’s to continued collaboration, learning, and making a difference in the field!

Dr. Aya al Jazy CCC-SLPD and Zaina Khoury MS CCC-SLP got a chance to visit Sanad Village in the Sustainable City, Dubai, UAE. It was a true delight to meet the team at Sanad Village Dubai and get inspired by their beautiful facility! We had an inspiring exchange of ideas and explored collaborative efforts to enhance support for individuals with support needs.

In December of 2024, we were honored by the visit of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein to Seeds of Hope Rehabilitation Center for Speech and Occupational Therapy.
Their visit highlighted the importance of rehabilitation services in Jordan and emphasized the vital role of speech and occupational therapy in supporting individuals of all abilities.
This meaningful visit served as a profound source of inspiration for our team, reinforcing our commitment to advancing our mission of empowering the community through the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services.
